Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy vein treatment, sometimes referred to as an ambulatory phlebectomy, is a minimally invasive way to remove damaged superficial varicose veins.

During the varicose vein treatment, tiny micro-punctures are made to allow for the gentle extraction of varicose veins and larger reticular veins using a microphlebectomy instrument, which resembles a small hook. Incisions are often so small that no sutures are necessary.

Microphlebectomy vein treatments offer excellent results alone or when performed in conjunction with varicose vein laser surgery or Sclerotherapy spider vein treatment.
