What to Expect

BEFORE YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

Please dress comfortably for your appointments. You will need to wear loose-fitting clothing that allows for exposure of the injured body part. Shorts, t-shirts, sweat pants and other “workout” clothing are appropriate and preferred.

We will review your specific insurance benefits in detail at your first appointment. Plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete new patient paperwork.

FIRST VISIT

You can expect a thorough, interactive evaluation from a Licensed Chiropractor in order to establish a customized treatment plan that will assist you in meeting your functional goals. During this evaluation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your condition, help set goals for your treatment, and gain a good understanding of what you may expect from chiropractic care visits. Depending on your specific diagnosis, your chiropractor may go over recommended exercises to do at home at the end of the first treatment. Expect approximately 90 minutes for the first visit.

FOLLOW-UP VISITS

On all follow-up visits, you will simply sign in at the front desk, answer a few questions, and wait for a brief time for your chiropractor to meet you and begin treatment. Expect approximately 30-60 minutes per visit.
