Harbin Clinic Recognized for Exceptional Workplace Culture and Operations
Harbin Clinic OB-GYN and Associate Medical Director of Clinical Informatics Dr. Marc Dean and Sr. Clinical Applications Team Lead Shelia Janice recently spoke at the KLAS Arch Collaborative Learning Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah. Harbin Clinic spoke on its organizational successes in regard to workplace culture and electronic health record (EHR) management and best practices.
Harbin Clinic shared that the multi-specialty medical group prioritizes a consistent focus on promoting team building, fostering a culture where employees want to stay, and bolstering education and support of electronic health record operations. Dr. Dean was pleased to share impactful data that highlights Harbin Clinic’s commitment to their employees and adopting best practices connected to trust and accountability. Shelia Janice with Harbin Clinic’s Information Technology department discussed how the organization has addressed opportunities to improve education and support of the EHR operations throughout the clinic, resulting in higher provider satisfaction.
“We are thankful to KLAS Arch Collaborative for giving us the opportunity to share the incredible job our Harbin team does every day to support each other in delivering the best care possible to all our patients,” said Dr. Dean. “Health technologies, including EHRs, can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, these technologies can aid clinicians immensely in caring for their patients. On the other hand, coaching and supporting clinicians to use available technologies in an efficient and effective manner can be challenging for everyone. Having trust and accountability for all involved in this effort are important keys to success.”
