Vascular Medicine is a specialty that cares for patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disease.
Vascular conditions include peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysms, atherosclerosis, carotid artery disease, fibromuscular dysplasia, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, lymphedema, and Raynaud’s Phenomenon. Vascular medicine also helps to modify cardiovascular risk factors such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, and tobacco cessation. Our Vascular Medicine Specialist evaluates, diagnoses and manages arterial, venous and lymphatic disorders, as well as the acute and long-term care of patients with hypercoagulable (blood-clotting) disorders, through comprehensive care. With state-of-the-art diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of vascular diseases, many patients are able to enjoy active lives with medication or non-invasive procedures. Vascular ultrasound remains the cornerstone for the non-invasive diagnosis of vascular disease. Vascular Imaging is performed in the Harbin Clinic Vascular Lab, conveniently located on the first floor of the Harbin Clinic Specialty Center. Additional treatments may be performed at the Harbin Clinic Vein Center.
