Full-time opportunity for Board Certified (or eligible) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our Vascular Surgery provider team. Experience in Vascular Surgery is preferred but open to train new graduates with a serious interest in Vascular Surgery.

Schedule:

  • See patients in clinic 4 ½ days per week; no hospital or weekend requirements
  • Required flexibility with schedule based on clinic volumes
  • Clinic hours would be from 8:00-5:00, except Fridays

Scope of practice:

  • Effectively identify, evaluate and address prevention and treatment of vascular disease
  • Understand and effectively evaluate dialysis patients and access-related complications
  • Assist surgeons with overflow clinical volume or in case of surgical emergencies
  • Collaborate with medical team and dialysis clinics, ensuring the safety of patients when indicated
  • Understand vascular diseases, treatments, procedures, including familiarity with indicated medications and non-operative therapies
  • Provide education to patients and families
  • Serve as a clinical resource for MAs and LPNs, but primary role is as a clinical provider
