Full-time opportunity for experienced NP or PA in busy Neurology practice.
Requirements:
- Board certified with GA License; active and in good standing
- Minimum 2 years experience in Neurology office based practice setting
Schedule:
- See patients in clinic 5 days per week; no hospital or weekend requirements
- Required flexibility with schedule based on clinic volumes
- Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Scope of practice:
- Effectively identify, evaluate and address prevention and treatment of common neurological problems in general neurology including migraine, Parkinson’s, seizures, MS, dementia, stroke, TIA, neuropathy, radiculopathy, epilepsy, concussion, tremors and other movement disorders
- Collaborate with medical team ensuring the safety of patients when indicated
- Understand and maintain knowledge of neurological diseases, treatments, procedures, including familiarity with indicated medications and non-operative therapies
- Provide education to patients and families
