Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join established Nephrology practice in Cartersville and Calhoun.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Board certified with current GA license as a NP or PA in good standing (or eligible)
- Previous experience in nephrology, dialysis, or acute care settings is helpful but not required
- Willing to train new graduates with interest in the specialty
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with our patient community is critical to the success of our practice.
- Must be able to work within the scope of practice guidelines and appropriately direct patients for follow-up care as their healthcare needs dictate.
Scope of Practice:
- Diagnose and treat patients in office clinic (both Cartersville and Calhoun)
- Round at various chronic dialysis facilities and local hospitals.
- Schedule will vary in regards to locations served and daily activity during the week/month.
- Must be flexible to travel to all facilities as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm;
- Position participates in weekend hospital rounds when physician is on call. Saturday and Sunday; will have a scheduled day off following weekend rounds.
