Jeff McEver, PA-C of Harbin Clinic Urology Rome Receives 2022 George Pullen Community Leadership Award
Harbin Clinic is excited to share that Jeff McEver, a physician assistant with Harbin Clinic Urology Rome, is the 2022 George Pullen Community Leadership Award recipient. This recognition comes from the Rome Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth (RFCCCY) and is awarded to those who significantly impact the children and families in Floyd County.
“The Harbin Clinic Urology Department is so pleased that Jeff is receiving this well-deserved recognition,” says Harbin Clinic urologist Dr. Forrest Schrum. “Not only is Jeff an outstanding PA, but he has also worked generously outside his medical practice to make the Rome community a better place. We are so proud of him and honored to have him as a member of our department.”
When not caring for his patients, McEver spends much of his time volunteering and mentoring youth at the Open Door Home and Three Circles Foundation. He is praised for providing enriching experiences like taking children to basketball games and providing engaging outdoor adventures. More importantly, McEver invests in children’s well-being by giving them a safe environment to learn about service and important life skills.
McEver played a critical role in establishing the Three Circle Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to see every youth, especially those from hard places, fully embraced. The organization hosts day camps designed to provide mentors, relationship-building skills and community service opportunities.
“I have been fortunate to cross paths with multiple people that have had Jeff as their provider, and they have told me how much he has encouraged them,” shares Brandi Jones, a RFCCCY Board of Director member.
McEver works with patients to detect, treat and prevent urological diseases such as urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, infertility, prostate cancer and more. McEver approaches patient care comprehensively and with compassion through advanced diagnostics and treatment techniques.
