Get Pump’d for Kids Initiative Lifts Spirits and Raises Funds for a Cause

This year, Halloween brought some extra treats to local children and families in need thanks to the Get Pump’d for Kids fundraiser.  

Throughout the month, Harbin Clinic worked alongside three Northwest Georgia non-profits to raise money for their respective organizations and bring some fun to the Halloween festivities this year. 

The Get Pump’d for Kids fundraiser raised nearly $8,000, and more than 300 children in foster care received a special Halloween treat last week. All funds raised went towards strengthening and improving the lives of foster children and families in need throughout the region. 

“Harbin Clinic is dedicated to building healthier and happier communities,” said Sarah Tuck, senior director of marketing and communications for Harbin Clinic. “Get Pump’d for Kids was a great way to get in the Halloween spirit, come together as a community, and make a positive impact. These organizations do so much to improve the lives of children, and we are honored to partner them. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this a success.” 

Get Pump’d for Kids was created as a way to celebrate Halloween safely while supporting and raising money for Advocates for Children, Polk County Family Connection, and the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth. The family-friendly fundraiser encouraged families to purchase a Pumpkin Pal yard sign for another friend or family member and place it in their yard. For every sign purchased, a special Halloween treat was delivered to a child in foster care. 

Thanks to the participation and collaboration of the community, Get Pump’d for Kids’ success has contributed additional support to these organizations as they serve our local foster care systems and provide essential resources to families.
