A Message From Wendy Pitts: Oncology Infusion Transition

I am excited to share some news regarding the synergy work of Harbin Clinic and Atrium Health Floyd.

Effective Dec. 2, 2024, Harbin Clinic Medical Oncology Infusions will transition to a hospital outpatient department under the name Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Oncology Infusion.

This transition is an example of how Harbin Clinic and Atrium Health Floyd can work together as one team to deliver exceptional care for patients across northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama by leveraging the expertise of our current medical oncology infusion team while allowing us to further enhance cancer care in our community. Please take note of the following important items:

• Patients who currently receive medical oncology infusion treatment at Harbin Clinic Medical Oncology will continue to receive care from the same team. However, they will now also be patients of Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Oncology Infusion.

• Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Oncology Infusion will be located on the second floor of the Harbin Clinic Cancer building, conveniently located right down the hall from Medical Oncology. New signage will reflect that the new Oncology Infusion Center is a facility of Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center.  

• Patients with a medical oncology appointment or seeking medical oncology lab services will continue to schedule appointments with Harbin Clinic Medical Oncology. Patients scheduled solely for infusion therapy will check in with Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Oncology Infusion.
