Pitts joined Harbin Clinic in 1987 as an ophthalmology surgical nurse. She has served in various leadership positions during her tenure with Harbin Clinic, including as cardiac rehab manager, cardiovascular division manager, best practices development director, director of operations of satellite offices, senior director of healthcare processes and outcomes, and most recently, Chief Quality Officer. She earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Floyd Junior College (Georgia Highlands College), a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Shorter University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.
