Splash Bash, Patriotic Party in the Park Set for July 4th

Fireworks, live music, games and tons of water-related fun will greet Romans at this year’s Harbin Clinic Patriotic Party at Ridge Ferry Park on July Fourth.

Splashtastic Fun

The day begins at 3 p.m. with the Harbin Clinic Splash Bash, which features numerous water slides, water activities and fun water games. The fun play area will offer a great place to play and stay cool from the hot July temperatures.

Entry to the Splash Bash is $5 and allows people to play all day. The first 300 people to enter the Splash Bash will also receive a Harbin Clinic Fun in the Sun Pack. Proceeds from the Splash Bash go to Coosa River Basin Initiative.

“We are thrilled to again be partnering with the RFPRD and Parker Systems to bring the Patriotic Party in the Park to Rome,” Harbin Clinic CEO Kenna Stock says. “This is a great event with plenty of activities for the whole family.”

Get Your Game On

The always-popular contests, including the watermelon-eating contest, three-legged races and Hula Hoop competitions, will begin at 5:30 p.m. near the stage. Games are free, and winners will receive fun prize packs from Harbin Clinic.

Music and Fireworks Too

At 8 p.m., Nashville-based musician Jacob Davis returns to the park’s main stage. Davis rocked revelers at the Rome River Jam in May and event goers will have the chance to again enjoy the artist.

The day ends with the annual fireworks display presented by Parker Systems. The fireworks are set to begin at 9:45, allowing park goers to witness a patriotic display to cap off the evening.
