Put a jingle in your step this holiday season with the much anticipated Harbin Clinic Jingle Jog benefiting the Tranquility House Domestic Violence Center on Saturday, December 7 at Sam Smith Park.
With a variety of activities for all ages, the Jingle Jog offers a 5K, Holiday Hustle Fun Run and Walk and a Dasher Dash where children ages 5 and under can chase Dasher the reindeer. Racers are also encouraged to dress up in their most festive costumes and participate in the Jingle Jog Costume Contest.
Concluding the race, participants are invited to experience the Winter Village, a festival featuring local artists, holiday bites and a special appearance by Santa and his reindeer. Have your picture taken with Kris Kringle and give your bells a little jingle to commemorate this exciting event.
Registration for the 5K race is $25, and Holiday Hustle is $15 prior to Sunday, December 1. Registration on race day is $35 for the 5K and $25 for the One Mile Fun Run. The Dasher Dash is free to all children ages 5 and under.
Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. and the awards ceremony wraps-up the event at 10:15 a.m. with times and results organized by Wire2Wire Running.
Packet pick-up will be on Friday, December 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Komatsu, located at 1515 E. Main St. Event parking will be located in the large, lower parking lot at the Cartersville Southern Soccer Academy at 152 Milner Rd., SE.
