Many of the participants showed up decked out in their super hero finest for the event, which helps raise money for the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department.
Dustin Little won the race, speeding through the 3.1 miles in 18:03, while Miriam Little won the women’s title with a 23:09.

The Rome YMCA garnered the most points via event registrations and costume contest wins to claim the Harbin Hero Challenge for the second consecutive year.
By winning, the YMCA earned a $1,500 donation from Harbin Clinic. The other four finalists in the Hero Challenge, Summit Quest, Floyd County CASA, Living Proof Recovery and The Sweet Cocoon, all earned $500 donations.
“We are very proud to be able to help bring another great health and wellness event to Rome,” Harbin Clinic CEO Kenna Stock says. “We enjoy teaming with great community partners like the Rome Floyd Park and Recreation Department to host events that focus on getting outside and being active.”
