Harbin Clinic Welcomes Six New Physicians

Harbin Clinic today announced the addition of six new physicians across four different practice groups in Rome and Cartersville, GA. Dr. Mark Floyd has joined Harbin Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Managment Rome; Dr. Charles Pesson is seeing patients full-time in our Orthopaedic Cartersville practice; Dr. Christopher Knitig has joined Family Medicine Cartersville; Dr. Brian McNiece has joined Family Medicine Rome; Dr. Kunal Patel has joined Pulmonary Medicine Rome; and Dr. Henaro Sabino has joined Pediatric Cardiology and is seeing patients in both Rome and Cartersville.

Dr. Mark Floyd

Dr. Floyd earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Berry College and his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in Orthopaedics at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Charles Pesson

Harbin Clinic Orthopaedics Cartersville

Dr. Pesson will lead Harbin Clinic Orthopaedics efforts in Cartersville. He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA and earned his medical doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. During his post-graduate training, Dr. Pesson completed his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA and his residency at the Louisiana State University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Pesson is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Christopher Knitig

Harbin Clinic Family Medicine Cartersville

Dr. Knitig earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and his medical doctorate from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his residency at Floyd Family Medicine Residency in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Knitig regularly integrates osteopathic techniques and principles into his practice, a type of hands-on care that involves using the hands to diagnose, treat and prevent illness or injury.

Dr. Brian McNiece

Harbin Clinic Family Medicine Rome

A Rome native, Dr. McNiece earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and received his medical doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, where he held the position of Chief Resident.

Dr. Kunal Patel

Harbin Clinic Pulmonary Medicine Rome

Dr. Patel earned his medical doctorate from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (a Harvard Medical International Associated Institution) in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Additionally, he completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, New York.

Dr. Henaro Sabino

Harbin Clinic Pediatric Cardiology Rome and Cartersville

Dr. Sabino earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and his medical doctorate from the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, HI. He completed his residency in general pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Egleston Children’s Hospital’s Sibley Heart Center Cardiology. Dr. Sabino is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics.
