Harbin Clinic has added nurse practitioner Roxanne Phillips to its family medicine practice in Calhoun, GA to help meet patient demand. Phillips will join physicians Dr. Ken Howard and Dr. Thomas Self to care completely for individuals ages 13 and up.
In addition to diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, Phillips will provide routine health screenings and counsel patients of all ages on lifestyle changes to prevent illnesses before they develop. If a health condition should arise that requires care from a specialist, she will take charge of coordinating all aspects of care and ensure a seamless experience for the patient.
“As our patient base continues to grow, it is critically important to expand our team to better meet the needs of those in our care and ensure that we are as accessible as possible for our patients,” said Dr. Howard. “With Roxanne on board, we look forward to further enhancing the level of care we can provide with the addition of her expertise.”
Phillips earned a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA and an associate degree in Nursing from Dalton State College in Dalton, GA.
Located at 855 Curtis Parkway, Harbin Clinic Calhoun is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 706-624-5100.
