Harbin Clinic will be the title sponsor of a popular race series put on by Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority (RFPRA) in 2015. Officially dubbed the “Harbin Clinic Race Series,” the event trilogy includes the Leprechaun-a-thon on Saturday, March 14, the Color Me Free 5K on Saturday, July 4, and the Zombie-thon on Saturday, October 24.
Last year, Harbin Clinic was the presenting sponsor for the first-ever Color Me Free 5K and fireworks extravaganza, as well as for the second annual Zombie-thon and third annual Leprechaun-a-thon. The organization looks forward to continuing its support of these important community events as the exclusive sponsor of all three this year.
“We are excited to be part of improving the overall health of northwest Georgia by supporting these races throughout the year,” said Dr. Ken Davis, President and CEO of Harbin Clinic. “Keeping the community healthy is at the heart of our mission, and these events encourage people of all ages to be physically active to achieve better overall health and well-being while having fun.”
As in years past, Harbin Clinic will continue to work closely with RFPRA to make these events bigger and better than ever, with the goal of increasing participation and community engagement year over year.
“We greatly appreciate Harbin Clinic increasing its support to serve as title sponsor of these annual 5K races and commend the organization for continually going above and beyond to promote a healthy, prosperous community,” said Wendy Reid, Interim Executive Director of RFPRA. “It is exciting to know that our partnership is creating valuable opportunities for people to get fit and live healthier lives one race at a time.”
