Harbin Clinic Presents Gal Talk Women’s Conference

Harbin Clinic announces plans for its signature program Gal Talk, a power-packed conference that brings together women throughout northwest Georgia who strive for their best in health, wellness and leadership. For the 2015 conference, Harbin Clinic is partnering with Berry College to produce the event. The two institutions have a long-standing relationship, and the shared vision of creating stronger communities was a natural fit for the conference. Gal Talk is set for Friday, July 10, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Krannert Center at Berry College in Rome.

“Gal Talk celebrates the achievements of women by gathering intelligent, respectful minds who are dedicated to motivating women in leadership, health and wellness,” said Ali Freeman, Harbin Clinic physician liaison and community outreach manager.  “Organizing this conference is a rewarding experience, and I believe women of all ages will benefit from the encouragement Gal Talk provides.”

The theme for Gal Talk 2015 is Love Your Selfie. During the conference, we will celebrate the successful women in our community by focusing on the ongoing process of self-improvement, which includes goal setting, challenging the mind, taking risks, and continuously learning skills to reach the next level. Speakers throughout Georgia will be joining the conference to share their stories and help propel women along the journey to their own personal and professional development.

Attendees will have the opportunity to donate to the Hospitality House for Women, a local shelter that services and cares for victims of domestic abuse. Each conference-goer is asked to bring a shoebox filled with full-size toiletry items. The boxes will be collected at the conference and delivered to the Hospitality House. For a full list of toiletry items needed, please visit www.harbinclinic.com/shoebox-project.

The cost for the event is $10, and pre-registration is encouraged due to limited seating. To purchase tickets, view Gal Talk’s schedule, read speaker bios, and view the Hospitality House for Women item list, visit www.harbinclinic.com/galtalk.
