Harbin Clinic, the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty healthcare group in Georgia, will be the presenting sponsor of the Harbin Clinic Leprechaun-a-thon, the inaugural event of the 2015 Harbin Clinic Race Series. Put on by the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority (RFPRA), the race will take place on Saturday, March 14 at Barron Stadium and Maddox Track in Rome and is set to begin at 1 p.m. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the two-mile health walk.
“Being active is one of the most important things you can do to benefit your overall health, and events like Leprechaun-a-thon offer a great opportunity to break a sweat while having fun,” said Dr. Ken Davis, President and CEO of Harbin Clinic. “We are excited to once again sponsor this spirited event and encourage everyone to come out and participate.”
To make the event even more fun, participants of all ages are encouraged to dress in their craziest green garb for a post-race costume contest.
Race packet pickup will be held Friday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All participants will receive a special armband in their race packet for exclusive discounts at restaurants and businesses on Broad Street.
