A new era of Caring Completely for Adairsville began last week as Harbin Clinic executives, physicians and staff sank gilded shovels in freshly-turned earth.
More than 50 community members, including several Adairsville city officials, gathered to celebrate the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new location of Harbin Clinic Family Medicine and Pediatrics on Thursday. Construction for the new building, located at 115 North Central Avenue, is slated to wrap up in May of 2018.
Adairsville City Manager Pam Madison and Mayor Kenneth Carson were guest speakers at the event, and said Harbin Clinic’s presence as a cornerstone of Adairsville continues to strengthen the community.
“This is a great day for Adairsville,” said Carson. “As our city progresses, it’s wonderful that Harbin Clinic also expands and continues to ensure the health and well-being of our people.”
In its current 4,788 square-foot facility, Harbin Clinic Family Medicine and Pediatrics Adairsville cares for 70 to 100 patients a day.
The new building will be 10,140 square feet, with room for expansion if necessary, enabling the clinic to care more completely and comfortably for families.
“We’ve grown so much and continue to expand our services every day, reaching more and more people in Bartow County and the surrounding areas,” says Dr. Sara Harbin Pickett. “In our brand new building, we’re looking forward to more opportunities to practice world-class healthcare in the small town setting we so enjoy in Adairsville."
