Kenna Stock

Chief Executive Officer

Kenna Stock joined Harbin Clinic in 1999 as the business office director. She served as the Chief Operations Officer from 2001-2013 and became Harbin Clinic's Executive Director in 2014. Stock became Harbin Clinic's CEO in 2015.

Before coming to Harbin Clinic, Stock was a practice manager at Esse Health, a multi-specialty physician group in St. Louis, MO. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, and a Master of Business Administration from Shorter College in Rome, GA.

Charles Edward McBride, III, MD, MBA

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. McBride joined Harbin Clinic in 2015. Prior to joining Harbin Clinic, Dr. McBride served as vice president of clinical services for Summit Strategic Solutions in Knoxville, Tennessee. Before joining Summit, Dr. McBride was with Holston Medical Group in Kingsport, Tennessee, and Floyd Primary Care in Rome.

Dr. McBride attended Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee, and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed an internship and residency at Carilion Health Systems in Roanoke, Virginia, and earned an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

At Summit, Dr. McBride was responsible for clinical oversight of care coordination, health education, patient experience, quality reporting and improvement, and direct supervision of six regional medical directors. Dr. McBride has served on the Board of Directors for the East Tennessee Health Information Network and as a delegate to the Tennessee Medical Association. Nationally, Dr. McBride serves as a member of the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

Tom Diehl

Chief Financial Officer

In 1998, Tom Diehl joined Harbin Clinic as comptroller. He served in this role until 2003 when he became the chief financial officer. Before Harbin Clinic, Diehl worked as comptroller at Carolina Primary Care in Columbia, SC and audit manager at Ernst & Young in Charleston, WV. Diehl has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a graduate of Leadership Rome XIX.

   

 

 

 

Andrew Goodwin, CHCIO

Chief Information Officer

Andy Goodwin is responsible for leading and managing clinic-wide information systems and all information technology functions, including overseeing Harbin Clinic’s secure IT infrastructure for clinical data. He is a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.

Prior to joining Harbin Clinic, Goodwin served in various top leadership positions throughout his career, most recently as CIO at the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) in Marietta, GA. Prior to GHA, he was vice president and CIO at University General Hospital System in Houston and a senior healthcare IT consultant at Siemens Medical Solutions in Salt Lake City.

Goodwin earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Maine at Farmington and a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Maine at Orono. Additionally, he holds an associate degree in Forest Management from the University of Maine. He is currently a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the Society for Information Management (SIM).

Wendy Pitts, RN, MBA

Chief Operating Officer

Pitts joined Harbin Clinic in 1987 as an ophthalmology surgical nurse. She has served in various leadership positions during her tenure with Harbin Clinic, including as cardiac rehab manager, cardiovascular division manager, best practices development director, director of operations of satellite offices, senior director of healthcare processes and outcomes, and most recently, Chief Quality Officer.  She earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Floyd Junior College (Georgia Highlands College), a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Shorter University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.

 

Lori Custer

Chief Compliance Officer

Custer joined Harbin Clinic in 2016. Prior to joining Harbin Clinic, Custer served as Corporate Director of Audits, Monitoring and Investigations and Chief Privacy Officer for Jackson Health System in Miami.

She has also held leadership positions at OB Hospitalist Group in South Carolina, Parkview Health in Indiana, Dermatology of Venice in Florida and Intercoastal Medical Group in Florida.

Custer earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Cincinnati and her law degree from the Thomas Cooley School of Law in Michigan. She has also served as an adjunct professor specializing in contract law at the University of Northwest Ohio.

 

Kenneth F. Davis, MD

President and Chairman of the Board

Dr. Davis joined Harbin Clinic as a general surgeon in 1986. During his 14-year practice, he served on the Board of the American College of Surgeons and the Harbin Clinic Board of Directors. He was elected chairman of the Medical Evaluations Committee at Floyd Medical Center, and Chief of Surgery at Redmond Regional Medical Center. After retiring from his general surgery practice in 2000, he became the Chief Executive Officer and President of Harbin Clinic in 2002. Dr. Davis retired as President and CEO in 2015 and now serves as the Chairman of the Board.

Prior to Harbin Clinic, Dr. Davis attended Darlington School, University of Georgia, and completed his medical doctorate at Emory University, serving as chief resident during his General Surgery residency at Emory University Hospital. In addition to his career in the medical field, Davis has business partnerships with Hardy Realty, Lavender Mountain Hardware, Jordan Davis Partners (medical consulting), Adams Project Management, Heritage First Bank, Hydrodynamics, Inc., and The Georgia Land Trust.

Dr. Davis and his wife, Laura Harbin Davis, reside in Rome, GA.
