Harbin Clinic Eye Center welcomes optometrist Dr. Kathryn “Kit” Stockton to Harbin Clinic Eye Center. Located at 550 Redmond Road in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Stockton joins the practice of ophthalmologists Dr. Bob Harbin and Dr. Paul “Butch” Harton, MD, and optometrists Dr. Bruce Bell and Dr. Caleb Landrum.
Dr. Stockton completed her Geriatric and Low Vision Rehabilitation Optometry Residency at Birmingham Veterans Administration Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
While in training, Dr. Stockton focused on primary eye care, the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, and low vision rehabilitation in the Southeastern Blind Rehabilitation Center. Additionally, she received the 2009 College of Optometrists in Vision Development Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy. She has traveled on mission trips to Nicaragua to provide eye care to the underserved citizens of the region, and prior to joining Harbin Clinic she was an established optometrist in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dr. Stockton is a member of the American Optometric Association and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
