Dr. Jason Harrison Joins Harbin Clinic Neurosurgery

Harbin Clinic announces the addition of Jason Harrison, M.D., Ph.D., to its growing medical team. Dr. Harrison joins the practice of Neurosurgeons John Cowan, M.D, Andrew Stevens, M.D. and Daniel Webb, M.D., located at 550 Redmond Road in Rome.

“I am pleased to welcome Dr. Harrison to our team,” says Dr. John Cowan. “He brings a blend of top-notch clinical training and knowledge with a strong passion for providing community-based care. Dr. Harrison specializes in the surgical treatment of neurological diseases and disorders and in the treatment of trauma to the head, neck and spinal cord. His expertise in the entire neurological system will enhance the comprehensive services of the practice.

Dr. Harrison will care for patients with related conditions, including brain and spine tumors, brain or skull trauma, skull defect or deformity, chiari malformation, degenerative spinal disorders, herniated discs, sciatica, scoliosis, spinal compression fractures, spinal dislocations, spinal stenosis and spondylolithesis.

Dr. Harrison completed his undergraduate degree at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA, and received his medical and doctor of philosophy degrees at University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Harrison resides in Rome with his wife Katrina and son Levi.
