Harbin Clinic's Dr. Brandon D. Bushnell has joined the ranks of the country’s top orthopaedic specialists by becoming a member of the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Membership is granted only to distinguished orthopaedic surgeons who have made a significant contribution to the field by demonstrating exemplary leadership and are actively helping to advance the academic education, research, and practice of orthopaedic surgery.
“Dr. Bushnell is very deserving of this honor, and it is exciting to see his exceptional leadership being recognized on a national scale,” said Dr. Christopher Piller, chairman of the Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine department. “We commend him for reaching this milestone in his career and look forward to his continued success both as a vital part of Harbin Clinic’s Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine practice and now as part of the American Orthopaedic Association.”
As an AOA member, Dr. Bushnell will help support the organization’s mission of engaging the orthopaedic community to develop leaders, strategies, and resources to guide the future of musculoskeletal care. He is one of only 59 new members to be inducted this year and one of only 36 total active members from the state of Georgia.
