Harbin Clinic’s Dr. Brad Bushnell has been selected to join the society of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). Membership into this organization is granted to leading Orthopaedic surgeons who specialize in surgery of the shoulder and elbow.
The mission of the ASES is to promote the ethical practice of evidence-based, high quality shoulder and elbow care through leadership, medical education and research. Dr. Brad Bushnell will be one of only seven surgeons in Georgia who are members of the elite group.
“ASES members are truly the giants of our field,” said Dr. Bushnell. “It is a major career milestone for me to join this group that includes some of my most respected mentors and role models in orthopedic surgery. I’m extremely grateful to have been selected and look forward to improving shoulder and elbow care for our patients through the research and education efforts of ASES.”
Dr. Bushnell works at Harbin Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Rome, caring for sports-related medical issues and focusing on shoulder and knee surgery. Dr. Bushnell has had a very busy few weeks. He recently published a book entitled, A Doctor's Basic Business Handbook: Things I Wish I Had Known When I Got Started, which is available on Amazon. He also competed in the Little Debbie Ironman Triathlon in Chattanooga, Tennessee, finishing the grueling 144.6-mile event in 13 hours and eight minutes. On top of that, he continues to serve as team physician for the Rome Braves and Berry College.
