Harbin Clinic was recognized on March 19, 2009, when the organization received a Community Enhancement Award, given by the City of Cartersville’s Department of Planning and Development.
The award signifies the efforts that Harbin Clinic made to go beyond the standard in new construction of a commercial building when they built their new facility last year to house all of their Cartersville physicians. The City of Cartersville staff and Planning Commission recommended that Harbin be recognized for their project’s value in aesthetic look and quality of construction.
Dr. Kenneth Davis, President and CEO of Harbin Clinic and Dr. Christopher Sward, Family Practice physician at Harbin Clinic Family Medicine Cartersville who is also a Harbin board member, were on hand to accept the award.
Harbin Clinic at Cartersville, located at 150 Gentilly Blvd, Cartersville, is a 75,000 square foot, three-story regional medical office building. It also contains a complete lab and state-of-the art imaging center. Harbin Clinic is the largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic in Georgia with 140 physicians, 20 locations and more than 30 specialties.
Dr. Davis said that he was very appreciative of the City of Cartersville for their recognition. “We had our Cartersville patients’ convenience in mind and our service to them when we built this facility. We are very glad to be a part of the Cartersville community and to be recognized in this way by them.
