New Heart Centers Provide Expert Care Close to Home

Heart Center Calhoun

Boasting a new 8,600 square-foot facility, the new Heart Center Calhoun provides Gordon County patients with access to numerous services, including clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, nuclear imaging and echocardiography. 

“I’ve truly enjoyed caring for the patients in Gordon County,” says Dr. Andrew McCue. “I’m eager to see how this new facility will help us take all aspects of care, from accessibility, comfortability and treatment to the next level.”

Heart Center Calhoun Exam Room

The Heart Center Calhoun is located right next door to the existing Harbin Clinic building and allows patients to receive expert heart care in close proximity to other specialties for a truly seamless experience. Harbin Clinic Audiology, ENT, Family Medicine, Imaging, Nephrology and lab services can also be found next door to the Heart Center at 855 Curtis Parkway.

The physicians at Harbin Clinic Cardiology Calhoun include Charles B. Baggett, MD, FACC, Rahul Garg, MD, Charles Jackson, MD, Spencer Maddox, MD, Andrew McCue, MD, and Kipp Slicker, DO, FACC.

Heart Center Cartersville

The newly renovated 7,800 square-foot Heart Center Cartersville provides patients with access to clinical cardiology, pediatric cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, nuclear imaging and stress echocardiography all in one building. With seamless referrals to other specialists within Harbin Clinic, residents of Bartow County can receive expert and complete care while staying local.

“We are always seeking opportunities to enhance every patient’s experience,” explains Dr. Rajeeve Subbiah. “The newly expanded space allows us to work more efficiently and continue to advance new technologies and equipment. We invest in these improvements so our patients can receive the best care possible.”

Heart Center Cartersville

The cardiologists at the Harbin Clinic Heart Center Cartersville also prioritize their patient’s continuity of care. They aim to make the heart health journey as smooth as possible and regularly work alongside staff and providers at the local hospital in Cartersville.

In addition to a new Heart Center, the heart team in Cartersville recently welcomed interventional cardiologist Ryan Chizner, DO, MPH, RPVI, FACC.

“We’re excited to continue growing and welcome new, talented providers like Dr. Ryan Chizner,” shares Dr. Maxwell Prempeh. “He brings a breadth of experience and is eager to help his patients improve their quality of life.”
